Add Shine and Luster to Curly/Wavy Hair

Posted on 27 April 2011 in Daily Daisy by Daisy

For curly hair, natural oils travel down the hair shaft with more difficulty because the cuticle does not lie flat, hence the lack of sheen compared to straight locks. Is there a good hair tip to add shine and luster to curly/wavy hair? Shampoo every few days with a deeply moisturizing formula, saturating strands from roots to ends. After the rinse, saturate hair again with a good amount of deep conditioner and use a wide tooth comb to distribute conditioner throughout. If you have stubborn, curly hair “Mixed Chicks” is a product line made for you! To help define and prevent frizz, mix styling cream and styling gel together and apply from roots to ends. Out of the shower, you can scrunch and let hair naturally dry or use a diffuser. A quick application of John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum or a spray of a shine hair product works best rather than a drop of oil since your hair will need shine only on the surface without a lot of racking through or combing which your curly/wavy hair does not need. Do the above and your curls/waves will be pretty and shiny.
