Protect Hair From Chlorine and Salt

Posted on 29 June 2011 in Daily Daisy by Daisy

Protect hair from chlorine and salt before a dip in the pool or the ocean which can be drying/damaging to hair health. What to do? Do this yourself at home-wet hair with preferably filtered water, use dime to nickel size portion of a preferably a natural hair oil product or leave in conditioner pre-plunge to prevent absorption of damaging elements. The fresh, filtered water will be a protective barrier and as the hair dries after the dip, it will absorb the conditioning product instead. Happy swimming!
