Fall Hair Trends From 2011 Runways

Posted on 19 September 2011 in Daily Daisy by Daisy

Four themes stood out for hair trends in the fall runways of Europe which will influence hair in the up-coming season. Noteworthy was the absence of the long, wavy, hippie middle part-good, because this look was being worn by just about everyone in the media as if there were no other options. For California, the beachy waves will always be popular however glad to see it go in terms of over-kill trends of the last 5 years. As I’ve been looking forward to, side parts are predominately seen, as well as completely pulled back, off the face in polished slick styles and my favorite-girly hair with a twist of masculine influence like strong side parts, pompadourish looks-see photo. Here is a break-down of the other 3 themes:

-1960’s inspired-think french twists and height
-Lacquered up-do’s, slick knots worn in controlled refinement
-Ultra feminine styles done with a twist-matte texture
