Location, Events & Photo Shoots

Working with a make-up artist or hair stylist for a photo shoot? As I do both, here’s my recommendation to help maximize that experience and make it easier for all involved. For photo shoots, it is helpful for me to know whether the film will be in black and white or color or both and what kinds of looks are expected in advance. A dry run is recommended as everyone can relax on the day itself knowing what is expected as well as minimizing any unwanted surprises particularly for weddings/once-in-a-life time events. To save time and money, I always recommend the bride, model, person have ready, dry hair plus do their pre-approved foundation color and mascara in advance, leaving the stylists with the creative stuff. Strike a pose!
