Summer, Salt and Chlorine

Posted on 7 May 2012 in Daily Daisy by Daisy

Now that the summer months are approaching, what do you need to know about summer, salt and chlorine for healthy hair? Repeated exposure to elements in the summer can dry and damage your hair and it’s color, causing brassiness and fading. Here’s a fast and handy tip on keeping your summer strands healthy and shiny after a dip in the ocean or pool. When you pack your day bag for a fun day out in the upcoming summer months, toss in a few cans of club soda to rinse your hair to remove any salt and chlorine to prevent these damaging and drying agents from eroding your hair during the summer months. Summer, salt and chlorine need not dry or fade your summer strands. Remember a hat or UV protection for hair too!
