Tell Your Stylist the Truth

Posted on 2 July 2012 in Daily Daisy by Daisy

Your stylist will ask you about your current and past hair history for a variety of reasons. With your answers, decisions are made on how to approach your hair for the best results. Why one chooses to make up white lies when they answer these questions is a mystery to me. It doesn’t happen often, just once in a while but can be time consuming for both parties-so tell your stylist the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Not long a ago I had a new gal in her twenties come in for highlights on dark brown hair. I ask her my normal series of questions but she fibbed. The color was not customized for the way she really wore her hair using the information she provided. As we discussed her hair she was near tears and I felt manipulated. To solve her problem, I re-did a portion of her highlights complimentary. She was very happy at the end of it all but had she answered my questions truthfully, the results would have been great the first time avoiding the ordeal. Be truthful about your hair to your stylist, it will be better for you if you did. A lot worse can happen too, I will spare you those possibilities..
