Add Shine to Hair

Posted on 15 September 2014 in Daily Daisy by Daisy

Rumor has it that a cool-water rinse leaves hair with more gloss and shine. Is this a good way to add shine to hair? Yes, it true. The chilly temperature constricts the cuticle layer of your hair so it lies flatter, making strands smoother and more reflective. Start with a shine enhancing shampoo and conditioner and finish with a cool rinse, with the warmer days ahead, it’s the perfect, easy, no cost hair tip for the season ahead. Keep in mind that blonde hair is shinier the first day of a shampoo and brunette hair is shinier on the 2nd day. So for blondes on the 2nd day, add a light mist of a hair sheen product and for brunettes, if your hair is not oily or fine, use the conditioner from top of strands to the bottom for that first day shine. To extend your fine hair blow dry, use a dry shampoo the next day or two and use a blow dryer to blow away the excess, works great on fine hair to add body anytime.
