I’m Daisy, hair colorist and stylist at Daisy Hair Design of Tampa Bay. I started in 1996 in the Malibu and Los Angeles areas of California, and brought my extensive experience when I relocated to beautiful Florida. My interest in hair and makeup sparked when I was modeling and traveling in Asia. Our stylists lived a life of independence and creativity, and came to the set in jeans! I admired the freedom of not wearing a suit or uniform every day — especially with the past jobs I’d had, but that’s another story. Upon returning to the States, I wanted to make a living my way. I began working with Elite Modeling Agency’s photographers in exchange for prints to include in my styling portfolio. I prepped the models’ hair, applied their makeup, and often accessorized their outfits.

Formally, the academies of Paul Mitchell, Toni & Guy, and Vidal Sassoon are in my “tool chest” along with other specialized education to stay on top of new ideas, trends, and techniques. This keeps me creative and motivated in the salon.

I delight in combining hair color which complements a personalized hairstyle to suit you and your lifestyle. I’m inspired by baby blues, mint green, hazel, and brown eyes as well as ivory, olive, and tan skin tones to create a sombré or sophisticated blonde, a dimensional redhead, or a stunning Balayage brunette. My makeup artist background provides a base for my vision, guiding me in sun-kissed color panels, highlights, and color-correction. I strive for perfection with every color and cut — quite possibly the most personalized hair color and cut of your life!
